A star has been added to this fellow to pretty up his head. If you are going to do this all the time we would recommend you make a stencil so it is the same each time.
The Chestnut Highlight is great for covering scars on your animal. If you need it to be lighter you may mix with some white cover colour and if darker mix with either red or blue black highlight.
The Stayz On range of Make-Ups are amazing for shading too. The liver is great for giving that leggy look to chestnut horses. Just apply the same as you would for a bay horse using the blue black highlight. You will be amazed at the difference it makes.

Don’t forget the legs. You can give chestnut horses that gorgeous leggy look if you darken their legs with the Stayzon Liver or Liver Gloss.
To darken a bay horses legs. Just use either the Blue/Black highlight or the Stayz On Black.
The Blue Black Highlight is fantastic for darkening legs on the bay and black horses where bleaching has occurred or some of the black is missing and does not do justice to the horse.
Best applied the night before fairly thickly and if needed a touch up in the morning. The more you use it the more permanent the look will remain.
Blue Black Highlight is great for that natural non glossy look. If you cannot make up your mind which look you prefer this is the one for you. Apply to the eyes fairly thickly the night before, in the morning wipe off the excess and if you want that glossy look just apply Champion Tails Clear Gloss. Simple.
The Red/Black highlight is same as above but with that hint of red for the more natural look on Chestnut horses.
The Jet Black Gloss is amazing. The black and the gloss are mixed together for that really black glossy look.
The Subtle Black Gloss is amazing for the lighter coloured horses and for hunters. Gives the lovely glossy look with just a hint of black.

The little fellow in the pictures here has been shaded with the Blue Black Highlight Make-up and the white cover creme to create a younger look and define his white socks. He also has a false mane extension where his mane was rubbed out.
The fellow below just needed some highlight to his face to enhance his facial features. The Subtle Black Gloss was used and completed his look. Great for lighter horses and hunter classes
